The Annaberg house is 1377  m above sea level. A. am Tirolerkogel near Annaberg (Lower Austria) in the Ybbstal Alps . The refuge is operated by the Austrian Mountain Association section of the PES , is managed on a daily basis all year round and offers 31 beds and 11 places in the mattress dorm in addition to food . The hut has a winter room with 4 beds.

The hut can be reached from Annaberg , Türnitz and Ulreichsberg .

history

The hut was built in 1908 and officially opened on September 13, 1908. After a renovation in 1929/1930, it was opened again on September 7, 1930. It burned down almost completely on July 15 and 16, 1976 and was rebuilt from 1983 to 1986. A new building took place in 2015/2016. The new building was officially opened in June 2016.
