Annals of Loch Cé

They are largely written in Irish with very few Latin entries. They cover the period from 1014 to 1590 and were compiled under the direction of Brian Mac Diarmata ( died 1592 ) on Loch Cé ( Lough Key ) near Boyle in County Roscommon .
