Anne-Julchen Bernhardt
Anne-Julchen Bernhardt (* 1971 in Cologne ) is a German architect and professor .
Life
Anne-Julchen Bernhardt studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University from 1990 and was also a visiting student at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In 1997 she completed her studies with a diploma . She then worked in various offices, including at O&O Baukunst , Heide von Beckerath and b & k + . She has been self-employed in Cologne since 1999 and founded BeL Sozietät für Architektur together with Jörg Leeser in 2000 . From 2001 to 2005 Bernhardt was a research assistant at the Chair of Building Construction III at RWTH Aachen University and in 2004 was given a teaching position at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . She often works in partnerships with her office, including schoenhaus , alma and b & k + .
Bernhardt has been a professor at the Chair for Building Theory and Fundamentals of Design in Reiff at RWTH Aachen University since 2008 .
In 2010 she was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts .
