Anne Beathe Tvinnereim (born May 22, 1974 as Anne Beathe Kristiansen ) is a Norwegian diplomat and politician of the Senterpartiet (Sp).

Life

Tvinnereim has a Masters degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo , she also studied Spanish and Portuguese . From 2000 to 2002 she was chairman of the youth organization Senterungdommen and a member of the board of the Senterpartiet. Between 2002 and 2005 she served as an advisor to the Senterpartiet faction in the Norwegian national parliament in Storting . In 2005 she started working in the diplomatic service of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

From 2006 to 2011 she was political advisor in the Ministry of Transport . Between 2007 and 2011 she served as the embassy secretary of the Norwegian embassy in Maputo , Mozambique . Then she was State Secretary in the local and regional ministry under the Jens Stoltenberg II government until 2013 . She then returned to work at the State Department. At the Senterpartiet convention in 2014 she was elected second deputy party chairman. From 2013 she was a member of the party's executive committee.

In the election for fylkesting in 2019, she ran as the top candidate for the Senterpartiet in Viken and she entered parliament. After the election, she became Fylkesråd for climate and environment, so she is responsible for climate and environment in the government of Viken. Tvinnereim advocates the dissolution of the Viken province, founded in 2020.
