Anne Bohnenkamp-Renken

Anne Bohnenkamp-Renken (born November 17, 1960 in Hilden ) is a German literary scholar .

Life

From 1980 to 1987 she studied German, philosophy and media studies (MA) at the University of Göttingen and the Università degli Studi di Firenze . After her doctorate in 1992 with a thesis on Goethe's Faust with Albrecht Schöne (awarded a prize from the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen ) and her habilitation in 2000 at the University of Munich (Modern German Literature and General and Comparative Literature), she represented one in 2002/2003 Chair at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . Since June 2003 she has been director of the Free German Hochstift / Frankfurt Goethemuseum . Since 2003 she has headed the DFG long-term project historical-critical edition of the works and letters of Clemens Brentano . From 2004 to 2012 she was honorary professor at the Goethe University . Since 2009 she has been heading the historical-critical hybrid edition of Goethe's Faust (DFG project in cooperation with the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and the University of Würzburg ). She has been a member of the LOEWE board since 2010 . Focus on digital humanities (in cooperation with TU Darmstadt and Goethe University Frankfurt). Since 2012 she has been teaching as professor for modern German literature at the University of Frankfurt am Main .
