Anne Funk

Anne Funk (born June 8, 1980 ) is a German journalist and former government spokeswoman for Saarland .

Anne Funk studied political science at the University of Trier and at the Institut d'études politiques in Bordeaux and at the École nationale d'administration in Strasbourg.

After this time she worked as a journalist and editor for the Saarbrücker Zeitung . In 2007 she was awarded the Young Talent Prize of the Franco-German Journalism Prize.

From 2010 she worked for the Saarland Ministry for Europe, initially as a personal advisor and spokesperson for the ministry, then from 2013 as head of the department for Franco-German relations and European policy. As a part-time job, she earned a master's degree in European Governance and Administration. In 2016 she became head of the Bureau de la Sarre in Paris.

On January 1, 2018, she became government spokeswoman for the Saarland State Chancellery . In November 2019, she was replaced in this position by Alexander Zeyer and returned to the Saarland European Ministry.
