admission

Admission to the Filière Générale (basic course) and binational courses at Sciences Po Bordeaux takes place through a concours , which requires extensive general knowledge of politics, economics, law and history in order to pass the highly selective selection process. The entrance tests consist of a three-hour "dissertation" on a current political topic, in which the ability to understand, reflect and argue is tested, a written exam in the area of history and a two-hour language test in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Russian. If a préparatoire class has already been attended, the requirements and types of tests vary in the fields of politics, economics and law.
