The Anne Hill with an altitude of 2079 m the most striking mountain of the ridge Radian Ridge of the Royal Society Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the east side of the Lava Tongue Pass .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain after the New Zealand geologist Anne Catherine Wright (* 1954, later married Wright-Grassham), who between 1977 and 1978 involved a New Zealand team on geodetic surveys in the area of this mountain and for the United States Antarctic Research Program between 1982 and 1986 on Ross Island , Minna Bluff , Mount Discovery and Mason Spur .
