The Mason Spur is a 1300 m high and partly icy rock spur in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It jumps out from Mount Morning to the east .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1963 after Robert Mason, representative of the United States Antarctic Research Program at McMurdo Station between 1962 and 1963.
