Anne Janz (born March 9, 1958 in Braunschweig ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). Since 2019 she has been State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration .

Life

In 1985 she completed her studies at the University of Kassel as a qualified social worker and social pedagogue. From 1990 to 2004 she was managing director of the Kassel town hall faction of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . In 2002 she completed another degree at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Hanover as a social economist . After she had already belonged to the honorary magistrate of the city of Kassel from 1997 to 2001 , she was appointed as a full-time member of the magistrate for youth, women, health and education. In the 2012 election of the German Federal President , Janz represented the Hessian Greens as a member of the Federal Assembly.

On January 18, 2019, Janz was appointed State Secretary to Minister Kai Klose in the Bouffier III cabinet in the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration .
