Anne Kipp

Anne Kipp (born September 25, 1951 in Münster-Sarmsheim ; † July 23, 2013 in Bingen am Rhein ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1970, Kipp studied German and English. From 1989 to 1991 she was the women's representative for the Mainz-Bingen district and from 1994 to 1999 she was a district member . Kipp was married and had two children. She died on July 23, 2013 after a long illness.

Kipp joined the SPD in 1976. In 1979 she became a member of the Verbandsgemeinderat der Verbandsgemeinde Rhein-Nahe , in which she was elected deputy SPD parliamentary group leader. From 1991 to 2006 she was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . She won her direct mandate three times in a row. There she represented the constituency 29 Bingen am Rhein and during this time she was a member of the committee for women's issues (deputy chair), member of the committee for culture, youth and family, chairwoman of the women working group, member of the working group for culture, youth and Family and member of the Drugs and Addiction Working Group.
