Anne Konaté

Anne Konaté (* 1950 as Anne Konde) is a politician and diplomat from the Republic of Burkina Faso .

Career

She is the mother of a daughter. From 1984 to 1986 she was Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ouagadougou . In 1986 she was appointed ambassador to the governments of Ivory Coast and Mali . However, since the war for the Agacher Strip was being fought at that time , she had no opportunity to post her credentials in Bamako . Therefore, she resided in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) until 1990 and was co - accredited with the governments of Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea-Bissau , Guinea , Gambia and Cape Verde . From 1990 to 1999 she was Ambassador to Copenhagen ( Denmark ) and was co- accredited to the governments of Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In 1996 she became Doyenne du Corps Diplomatique in this capacity . From 1999 to 2000 she was Deputy Minister of Finance for Economic Development. In January 2000 she was appointed Minister-Delegate to the Prime Minister for Economic Development. In February 2001 she was appointed Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance and Economy in charge of Economic Development.
