Anne Marie Dragosits

Anne Marie Dragosits (* 1974 in Hall in Tirol ) is an Austrian organist , harpsichordist specializing in historical harpsichord instruments and a university teacher.

life and work

Dragosits studied with Wolfgang Glüxam at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and with Ton Koopman and Tini Mathot at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague . In basso continuo she continued her education in master classes with Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Jesper Christensen . Dragosits received his doctorate at the end of 2012 with the thesis "Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger (ca.1581-1651): Reflections on his life and environment, his vocal music and his practical material for basso continuo playing" as part of the Dutch-Belgian program docARTES at the University of Leiden .

Dragosits has been professor for harpsichord at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz since 2016 .

Dragosits primarily deals with historical harpsichords in her phonograms. “[…] She recorded her first solo CD“ ITALIA! ”With Italian harpsichord music from the seventeenth century in November 2010 on the original Giusti from 1681 in the Germanic National Museum.
