Anne de Laugardière

Anne de Laugardière (born before 1983) is a French costume designer .

Life

Anne de Laugardière was initially responsible for costumes under the direction of costume designer Yvonne Sassinot de Nesle and came to productions such as Andrzej Wajdas Danton (1983) with Gérard Depardieu in the title role and Volker Schlöndorff's Proust filming Eine Liebe von Swann (1984) for use. For the Franco-British co-production Badminton with Alan Bates and Lambert Wilson in the lead roles, de Laugardière was responsible for the costume design for the first time. A collaboration with Olga Berluti followedfor the 18th century biopic Farinelli , which brought de Laugardière and Berluti a nomination for César in the category of best costumes . After that, de Laugardière was only sporadically active in film. For the international co-production The Proprietor (1996) she made costumes for Jeanne Moreau ; for the television film Casanova - I love all women (2002) she created costumes for Katja Flint in the role of Madame de Pompadour .
