Annemarie Ewertsen

Annemarie Ewertsen (born March 5, 1909 in Kiel ; † November 26, 1993 in Laboe ) was a German painter and graphic artist.

Life

Ewertsen worked as a technical assistant at the Archaeological Land Survey and later with the Navy. From 1927 to 1941 she studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Kiel . Between 1924 and 1943 she stayed in Ahrenshoop annually . Her artistic work, created up to then, was lost in a bomb attack in 1944. After 1946 she settled in Laboe as a freelance artist.

Her work includes landscapes, interiors and figures in mixed media and watercolor. She created large enamel pictures for the schools in Heikendorf and Preetz .
