Annette Zwahr

Annette Zwahr (born October 16, 1942 in Radebeul ) is a German historian and encyclopaedist .

Career

Zwahr received his doctorate in 1980 at the University of Leipzig with a thesis "On the politics of the bourgeoisie of Saxony from February to September 1848". From 1993 to 2007 she worked in the Leipzig Brockhaus lexicon editorial team. Numerous encyclopedias were created under her leadership, including the 21st edition of the Brockhaus encyclopedia.

She is married to the historian Hartmut Zwahr .
