Annke Conradi (born August 30, 1965 in Frankfurt / Main ) is a German high-performance swimmer .

Since Annke Conradi has cerebral palsy from birth , she lives out her sporting ambitions in the context of disabled sports . At the age of about 14 she learned to swim independently without any aids. From 1984 to 1987 she took part in various swimming play festivals. From May to November 1991 she learned a new swimming technique as part of general university sports - under individual supervision by a teacher training student - a new swimming technique: the back crawl technique with alternating arm strikes. Conradi managed to get by with one training session a week. From November 1991 Conradi decided to build up competitive training and expanded her training to 2 to 3 hours per week. In March 1993 she joined the swimming club DJK Sportbund Regensburg . She has been an active member of the Regensburg Swimming Club since 2010.

Since 1994 she has participated in various national and international championships and can boast numerous international sporting successes. In 2000 Annke Conradi succeeded in setting a new Paralympics record in the 50 m backstroke. In 2004 she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf .

Annke Conradi has a degree in business administration and is currently working in the financial management of an advice center and outpatient service for the disabled as a financial accountant and managing director.
