Anna (Ans) Carolina van den Berg (born February 18, 1873 in Amsterdam ; † October 6, 1942 there ) was a Dutch painter , draftsman and member of the Amsterdamse Joffers .

Life

After boarding school in Brussels, Anna Carolina van den Berg attended the Dachtekenschool voor meisjes in Amsterdam from 1892 to 1895 and the Académie Colarossi in Paris from 1903 to 1904 . She increasingly painted portraits and figures, but preferred still life with flowers. After returning to Holland, she had lively contact with a group of Laren painters .
