The Gerchsheim junction (also junction 2 ) connects the A 81 with the St 578 . Immediately after the junction there is a commuter parking lot in the direction of Kist on the right side of the road .
geography
Curiously, the junction is named after the nearby Großrinderfelder district of Gerchsheim , but the Gerchsheim junction is on the boundary of the Lower Franconian community of Kist in the district of Würzburg in Bavaria . The A 81 starts earlier, also in the district of Kist, at the triangle Würzburg-West (junction 1). Immediately after the Gerchsheim junction, the motorway changes to the Main-Tauber district in the state of Baden-Württemberg .
