Anselm Cybinski

Anselm Cybinski (* 1967 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German violinist , cultural journalist , music manager and director of the Lower Saxony Music Days .

Life

Anselm Cybinski studied violin in Cologne and London and then worked as an orchestral musician. He played for seven years as a member of the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra . At the same time he worked as a freelance journalist in the field of culture.

From 2005 to 2010 Cybinski worked in public relations at ECM Records before becoming an executive producer at Sony Classical International for Igor Levit , Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Christian Gerhaher .

In 2014 Cybinski took over the duties of deputy managing director of the Munich Chamber Orchestra (MKO).

In the 2019 season, Anselm Cybinski took over the management of the Lower Saxony Music Days.
