Ansgar Heickmann

Ansgar Bernhard Heickmann (* 1965 ) is a German art and antiques dealer and auctioneer .

Life

Heickmann, sales clerk and manager of a large textile company, moved in 1994 with his wife, the doctor Susanne Heickmann, from Nuremberg to Chemnitz , where they founded one of the first auction houses in the new federal states . In 2013 the auction house moved to larger premises. In November 2015, Heickmann held its 100th auction and was named “Macher of the Week” by the city of Chemnitz.

Ansgar Heickmann reached a wider audience through his appearances as an art and antiques dealer in the ZDF television series Bares für Rares , of which he was a member of the fourth season of 2015.
