Antonio Moreira de Fátima

Antónia Moreira De Fatima (born April 26, 1982 in Luanda , Angola) is an Angolan judoka . The 1.70 m tall athlete fights in the class up to 70 kilograms.

Antónia Moreira de Fátima won the title at the African Judo Championships in 2005, the silver medal in 2004, 2011 and 2012 and the bronze medal in 2008 and 2010. At the Pan-African Games she won the bronze medal in 2007 and the silver medal in 2011 .

Moreira took part in the Olympic Games three times. At the 2004 Games in Athens , she was able to prevail in the round of 32 against the Cuban Anaisis Hernandez and was eliminated in the round of 16 against the North Korean Ryon Mi Kim.

At the 2012 London Games , Moreira carried the flag of her country at the opening ceremony. In terms of sport, she retired after a bye in the first round and a loss to the Colombian and later bronze medalist Yuri Alvear in the round of 16.

In 2016 in Rio de Janeiro , she was eliminated in the round of 16 against the German Laura Vargas Koch .
