Antónia Munkácsi

Antónia Munkácsi (born November 26, 1938 in Belgrade ) is a former Hungarian sprinter .

In 1959 she won bronze in the 200 m and 400 m at the World Festival of Youth and Students .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she was eliminated over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.

In 1962 she reached the semifinals at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade over 400 m and failed in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary round.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she was fourth in the 400 m and seventh in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

She won silver over 400 m at the 1966 European Championship in Budapest and was eliminated in the preliminary run at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.

At the European Championship in Athens in 1969 , she was seventh in the 4 x 400 meter relay.

She was Hungarian champion over 400 m four times (1959, 1962, 1964, 1967), three times over 200 m (1957, 1959, 1960) and once over 100 m (1959).
