Antanas Ivanauskas (Mayor)
Antanas Ivanauskas (born October 22, 1954 in Zagriaužis , Jurbarkas district ; † January 19, 2013 in Visaginas ) is a Lithuanian politician and mayor of the Visaginas municipality .
Life
After graduating from high school in Raudondvaris in 1972 , he completed his diploma in electrical engineering at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in Kaunas in 1977 . From 1982 to 1989 he worked at Trest "Energospecmontaž" in Dūkštas as a branch manager and deputy director. From 1995 to 1999 he was deputy mayor and from 1999 to 2000 mayor of Visaginas.
From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija , from 2001 LSDP .
