Career

Razov grew up in California and played at the University of California, Los Angeles , where he was discovered by the Los Angeles Galaxy . In the two years that he was there under contract, he was rarely used, which is why he moved to Chicago Fire in 1998 .

The years in Chicago were his most successful. He was the top scorer of his team five times, won the MLS Cup in 1998, the US Open Cup in 1998, 2000 and 2003 and was elected to the MLS Best XI team in 2003 . After he had made a stopover at the Spanish second division club Racing de Ferrol in the 2000/01 season , he stayed in Chicago until 2004 when he was sold to the Columbus Crew after a disappointing season .

Further stations were the New York Red Bulls and CD Chivas USA , where he has been under contract since 2006.

In 2010 Razov ended his career.

Razov played his first international match for the United States' national soccer team in 1995 while still at college. He scored a total of six goals in 25 appearances for the national team.
