Ante Samodol

Ante Samodol (born October 19, 1986 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Samodol played in the youth department of the Hertener Löwen and made his debut in the club's men's team in the regional league at the age of 15. In 2003, the 1.98-meter winger moved to RheinEnergie Köln in the basketball league . Samodol played for the German junior national team.

In Cologne he played mainly in the youth and in the regional league team of the Rhinelander, in the Bundesliga he came to a brief assignment (early December 2003 against the Central German BC ).

For the 2005/06 season he moved back to Herten before he  went to Citybasket Recklinghausen during the season . From 2006 to 2008 Samodol played for the college team at Williston State College  in the US state of North Dakota .

In the game year 2008/09 he was initially in the service of FC Schalke 04 in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA , in the course of the season he moved back to Recklinghausen.

In the 2009/10 season Samodol played for the team from Memorial University in the Canadian province of Newfoundland .
