Antenfressen ( vernacular : Antafressn ) is a district of the municipality of Halsbach in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting .

The hamlet of Antenfressen is located about one kilometer northwest of Halsbach on the AÖ 10 district road .

history

The name of the place goes back to the old high German word antfrist . It denotes an interpreter and an explainer. The place belonged to the community Oberzeitlarn from the foundation of the community in 1818 and came with their dissolution on January 1st 1964 to the community Halsbach.

To the east of the village is a listed wayside shrine from the first third of the 19th century.
