An antenna dagger is a dagger or short sword with a pommel usually forged in one piece , a special antenna pommel . The ends of the pommel are crescent to ring-shaped or spiral-shaped or curled upwards and form a horn-shaped or snail-shaped appearance. The arch ends are often decorated with balls or knobs. Antenna daggers were made around 1800 BC. Until about 500 BC Made and used in the Bronze Age and the Iron Age . The handle scales were made of wood or horn and are very rarely preserved.
