The Siedelberg is an elongated mountain ridge in north-south direction with a maximum height of 541  m above sea level. A. It is located in Upper Austria between the Engelbach valley in the west and that of the Mattig in the east. The communities Mattighofen , Pischelsdorf , Auerbach and Pfaffstätt have a share in the mountain.

The Siedelberg is a terminal moraine from the Günze Age . According to the natural spatial structure of the state of Upper Austria, the Siedelberg is largely assigned to the Hausruck and Kobernaußerwald spatial unit , its northern part, separated by the L503, for example, the Inn and Hausruckviertel hills . Both sections are small and morphologically separated from their main areas to the east by the Mattigtal spatial unit . Conglomerate was mined on the east side of the Siedelberg, south of the highest point there is a large gravel pit.

Celtic graves from around 400 BC were found on the Siedelberg. found in our era.

The most common tree species on the Siedelberg is the beech .

The Kobernaußerkorridor , a walking corridor for animals, runs over the Siedelberg and is intended to link the Kobernaußerwald with the Bohemian Forest as part of a pilot project between the Province of Upper Austria and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna . The corridor currently extends from Braunau over the Siedelberg, Kobernaußer and Hausruckwald to the Schlögener Schlinge .
