Anthemis ammanthus is a plant from the genus of Anthemis ( Anthemis ) in the family of Compositae (Asteraceae).
features
Anthemis ammanthus is an annual stem therophyte that reaches heights of 1.5 to 24, rarely up to 36 centimeters. The leaves are fleshy. The leaf lobes are blunt.
Ray florets are absent. When the plant is fruiting, the stems of the baskets are thread-thin and not club-like. The fruits are inverted to egg-shaped, 1.75 millimeters in size, clearly ten-ribbed, all of the same type and fall off. The crown is 0.3 to 0.5 millimeters in size, membranous and more or less strongly dented and toothed.
The flowering period extends from March to May.
Occurrence
Anthemis ammanthus occurs in the Kardägäis on rocky coasts and cliffs.
Systematics
There are two subspecies :
- Anthemis ammanthus subsp. ammanthus : The basket floor has no chaff leaves. The fruits fall off early. This subspecies occurs in the Kardägäis.
- Anthemis ammanthus subsp. paleacea Greuter : The basket base has chaff leaves that are membranous, spatulate-lanceolate, pointed and long-haired. The fruits are more or less constant. This subspecies occurs in the south-east of the Kardägäis. It has the number of chromosomes 2n = 18.
