Anthony John Valentine Obinna (born June 26, 1946 in Emekuku , Nigeria ) is Archbishop of Owerri .
Life
Anthony John Valentine Obinna received on 9 April 1972, the sacrament of holy orders and was in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Owerri incardinated .
On 1 July 1993 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishop of Owerri. The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò , donated him episcopal ordination on September 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Owerri, Mark Onwuha Unegbu , and the bishop of Orlu , Gregory Obinna Ochiagha . On March 26, 1994, John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Owerri.
