Antigone (daughter of Pheres)
Antigone ( ancient Greek Ἀντιγόνη ) was in Greek mythology the daughter of Pheres , the king of Iolkos in Thessaly . She was the mother of the Argonaut Asterion . According to Hyginus Mythographus , Asterion came from the connection with Pyremos , while Apollonios of Rhodes names comet as the father of Asterion .
