Truchon has been participating in the TTR World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2009 . He won his first national win in February 2009 at the AXIS Slopestyle in Mont Saint Sauveur . At the New Zealand Winter Games in Cardrona in August 2011 , he took second place in big air competition and in slopestyle. He drove his first FIS World Cup race in October 2011 in London , which he finished in 29th place in Big Air. At the Snowboard World Championships 2012 in Oslo , he came in 30th place in slopestyle. In February 2012 he won his first FIS World Cup in the Big Air competition in Stoneham . At The Shred Show in Whistler , he took second place in big air and first place in slopestyle. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he won the slopestyle at Stylewars in Falls Creek and came second at the big air event freestyle.ch in Zurich . This was followed by a third place in Big Air at the FIS World Cup race in Stoneham and a victory at Toyota Big Air in Sapporo . He finished the season in fifth place in the Tour Big Air classification. In September 2013 he won the freestyle.ch in Zurich. At the Snowboard Jamboree 2014 in Stoneham he came third in Big Air. In March 2015 he came second in the Slopestyle at the Poney Session in St. Lary . After finishing seventh at the Air & Style in Beijing at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, he finished second in Big Air at the World Cup in Moscow and won in Slopestyle at the Banana Open in Jilin . In March 2018, he took third place in Big Air at the World Cup in Québec .
