Anton Beutel (lawyer)

Anton Beutel (born January 31, 1868 in Winterstettendorf ; † January 11, 1949 in Göppingen ) was a German administrative lawyer and senior administrator in Württemberg.

Life

Anton Beutel was the son of the farmer and member of the Landtag, Anton Beutel (1830–1903). He studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and graduated in 1892 with the first state examination in law. From 1887 he was a member of the Catholic student union AV Guestfalia Tübingen . After. 2 higher administrative service examination he was from 1899 bailiff at the Oberamt Göppingen . From 1903 he worked as a collegiate assistant at the Württemberg central office for trade and commerce and from 1904 worked there as planned. In 1911 he became a senior official at the Gerabronn office and then from 1918 at the Geislingen office . From 1923 he worked in Ulm, first as a police director and then from 1924 as the Oberamtmann of the Oberamt Ulm and from 1928 as the district administrator. From April 1929 he was first deputy head and chief reporter of Business Section III (police department) in the Württemberg Ministry of the Interior and already in June its head and ministerial advisor. After reaching the age limit, he retired on July 31, 1933.
