Anton Franz

Anton Franz (born July 22, 1887 ; † June 1962 in Lohr am Main ) was a German local politician.

Career

The master painter Franz was a member of Lohr's city council from 1924 to 1933. After the end of World War II , he was in 1945 by the American military authorities to mayor and district administrator of the district Lohr determined.

He was a founding member of the CSU in Lohr and Lower Franconia as well as a board member of the Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia.
