Anton Georg Zwengauer (born June 12, 1850 in Munich , † January 18, 1928 in Munich) was a German painter. Zwengauer was the son of the landscape painter Anton Zwengauer . After his father's first artistic lessons, he became a student at the art academy in his hometown. He visited this between 1871 and 1874 and was u. a. Pupil of Arthur von Ramberg .

King Ludwig II of Bavaria appointed Zwengauer to be his court painter in 1869.

At the personal request of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria , Zwengauer was entrusted with the administration of Berg Castle in Berg on Lake Starnberg in 1898. With this position, which was to be seen more symbolically, Zwengauer was guaranteed a regular income and he could comfortably pursue his artistic activity.

Anton Georg Zwengauer died on January 18, 1928 in Munich at the age of 77.
