Anton Gorbunov
Anton Gorbunow (born June 18, 1949 in Rohr in Niederbayern ) is a former German long-distance runner .
In 1974 he became the German marathon champion . In 1975 he won the premiere of the Bozen New Year's Eve run . In 1977 he became the South German champion in the marathon with his personal best of 2:19:33 h.
He took part in the World Cross Country Championships twice: in 1974 he was 116th and in 1975 he was 63rd.
Anton Gorbunow started for the LAC Quelle Fürth and the LLC Marathon Regensburg . His current club is the TV Geiselhöring. As an orthopedic surgeon, he runs a practice in Regensburg .
