Anton Johann Kerkring
Anton Johann Kerkring (also Kerckring and Kirchring ; * 1646 in Lübeck ; † October 14, 1692 ibid) was a German lawyer and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
Anton Johann Kerkring came from the patrician family Kerkring, who had lived in Lübeck since the 14th century . Together with his brother Heinrich Diedrich Kerkring, he studied law at the University of Tübingen in 1667/1668 . In 1671 he became a member of the patrician circle society in Lübeck. He was initially the Princely Mecklenburg Privy Councilor and from 1687 to 1691 official governor in Boizenburg . Kerkring was elected to the Lübeck Council in 1695 and died in the same year. His brother Heinrich Diedrich was elected to the Lübeck council in 1701.
