Heinrich Diedrich Kerkring

Heinrich Diedrich Kerkring (also Henrich Dietrich Kirchring ; * 1643 in Lübeck ; † April 12, 1703 ibid) was a German lawyer and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Heinrich Diedrich Kerkring came from the patrician family Kerkring, who had lived in Lübeck since the 14th century . Together with his brother Anton Johann Kerkring, he studied law at the University of Tübingen in 1667/1668 . In 1671 he became a member of the patrician circle society in Lübeck. In the same year he was temporarily mayor of Mölln . In 1701, after the death of his brother, councilor Anton Johann Kerkring, he was elected to the Lübeck council.

He was married to a daughter of the Lübeck councilor Andreas Albrecht von Brömbsen and through this marriage received the Lübschen estates Niendorf and Reecke near Moisling in addition to his Gut Brandenbaum .
