Anton Kogler (also: Toni Kogler , born April 25, 1961 in Schachen near Vorau ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

He is the owner of a drawing office and joined the FPÖ in 2000. Kogler has been a local councilor in his home town of Schachen bei Vorau since 2000, Hartberger district chairman of the FPÖ Styria since 2004 and regional party chairman's deputy since 2007.

From 2010 he was a member of the Styrian state parliament . He was the area spokesman for social affairs, agricultural policy, family, disabled people, work, senior citizens and consumer protection. In 2018, he succeeded Fritz Probst as the Styrian FPÖ state manager.

After Mario Kunasek resigned as Minister of Defense in May 2019, Kogler renounced his mandate in the state parliament in order to enable Kunasek to return to the state parliament.

Anton Kogler is married and has two children.
