Anton Krupski

Anton Krupski ( Polish Antoni Krupski ; born July 27, 1889 in Schleinikon , † December 13, 1948 in Zurich ) was a Swiss veterinarian and professor at the University of Zurich .

Life

Krupski initially worked as an assistant in the Veterinary Pathological Institute at the University of Zurich. After a brief activity in a veterinary practice , he became a slaughterhouse veterinarian in Zurich and collected a lot of material on diseases of cattle, with genital diseases being his special interest from 1917 to 1924. In 1926 he was appointed professor of internal medicine at the University of Zurich and dealt primarily with hematology and, from 1934, calcium and phosphorus deficiency diseases.
