Claudia Bimberg (born May 10, 1986 in Schwerin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Bimberg began playing volleyball at home in Schwerin in 1995 , with which she was German U18 champion in 2002 and 2003. With a second game right, she played in the 2003/04 season at 1. VC Parchim in the second division . In the 2004/05 season, the middle blocker was used at Schweriner SC in the Bundesliga . In 2005 she moved to the German champions and cup winners USC Münster . Here she reached the cup final in 2006 . After five seasons with appearances in the first and second Bundesliga as well as many interruptions due to injuries, she ended her engagement with USC in 2010. Bimberg has been playing in the third division at WiWa Hamburg since 2014 .

Private

Claudia Bimberg lives in Hamburg today and is a teacher.
