Anton Schütz (politician)
Anton Schütz (born October 20, 1861 in Camberg , † January 27, 1919 in Oberlahnstein ) was a German politician and member of the Provincial and Municipal Parliament (from 1915).
Life
Schütz was born the son of a butcher and studied law in Bonn and Freiburg im Breisgau , where he became a member of the Bonn fraternity Frankonia and the fraternity Alemannia Freiburg in 1881 . From 1894 he was until 1904 mayor in Eltville , then to 1919 mayor in Oberlahnstein. Since 1905 he belonged to the district council of the St. Goarshausen district and from 1915 was a member of the provincial and municipal council and the district committee . He was on the board of the Nassau City Council and inCommercial association of Oberlahnstein.
