Anton Sigismund de Buys

Anton Sigismund de Buys († July 29, 1693 near Neer winds ) was a Brandenburg colonel and head of the regiment .

Buys, from whose military career no further information could be determined, was appointed in 1692 as the successor of the late Brandenburg Lieutenant General Heinrich de Briquemault as regiment chief of infantry regiment No. 9 . He fell against the French on July 29, 1693 in the Palatinate War of Succession near Neerwinde . His successor as regiment owner was Otto von Schlabrendorf in 1694 .
