Anton Speer

Anton Speer (born July 12, 1958 ) is a Bavarian local politician ( free voters ). It is 2014 since May 1, district administrator of the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen .

Life

Before his election as district sales manager spear the cheese factory was Ettal and farmer sideline. In earlier years he also worked as a wedding host.

He was second mayor of the Unterammergau community , judge and member of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district council.

politics

In the term of office from 2008 to 2014, Speer was elected as deputy to District Administrator Harald Kühn by an alliance of the CSU and the “Free Voters of the Rural Communities” . After Kühn was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament on September 15, 2013, Speer managed the business from October 7, 2013 until the end of his term of office. On March 30, 2014, he prevailed in the runoff election for the office of district administrator with 60.14% against the candidate from the CSU. In the local elections on March 15, 2020 , he was re-elected with 78.7% of two competitors.

Private

Speer is married and has two grown children.
