Anton Viktor Wyrobisch

Anton Viktor Wyrobisch (* 1948 in Dobrzen Wielki ) is a German - Polish theologian and former teacher ; For over 30 years he has been committed to exchange and international understanding between Germany and Poland and received the Federal Cross of Merit on October 6, 2014 for his work as the state coordinator of the UNESCO project schools in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Life

Wyrobisch studied theology and was subsequently a religion teacher at the Auguste-Viktoria-Gymnasium in Trier . Since 1997 he has also been the state coordinator for UNESCO project schools in Rhineland-Palatinate . Wyrobisch was one of the founding members of the German-Polish Society Trier and is its first chairman. In addition, he organized the student exchange between the Auguste-Viktoria-Gymnasium and the XII. General education lyceum in Krakow .

He is also committed to the preservation of the baroque Welschnonnen Church in Trier's Flanderstraße .

Honors

Anton Viktor Wyrobisch was awarded the Cavalier Cross of the Polish Order of Merit by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Cologne, Mr. Andrzej Kaczorowski, on May 15, 2009 .
