Anton Heinrich Sigora von Eulenstein (born June 7, 1772 in Vienna ; † November 14, 1821 there ) was an Austrian composer, violonist and civil servant.

Life

From 1768 Eulenstein worked in various positions as an official clerk. In addition to his work in the civil service, he devoted himself to music and took lessons as a composer. The statement that he was a student of Mozart cannot be confirmed. Von Eulenstein wrote violin and piano pieces, quartets, songs and church music. In addition, he wrote music for plays, singspiele, pantomimes and operettas, some of which were performed with great success, especially in the Theater in der Leopoldstadt and in the Theater an der Wien .
