Antonello Fassari

Antonello Fassari (born October 4, 1952 in Rome ) is an Italian actor and film director .

Life

Fassari attended the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica and took courses at the workshop theater of Luca Ronconi , under whose direction he successfully played in a number of plays; Utopia by Ronconi, Il revisore by Maurizio Scaparro , Cristina di Svezia by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi and Mettiti al passo by Eduardo De Filippo were among them.

In the mid-1980s, his focus of work shifted to television and film roles, where he took on formative supporting roles. The Avanzi format for the small screen was followed by his greatest success in the cinema to date - Sognando la California offered him one of the four main roles. In Celluloide he portrayed one of his models, Aldo Fabrizi , with whom Fassari is also often compared; Critics appreciate his versatility, which has allowed him to establish himself in different roles. After a stage success with Che tempo fa in 1994 , he surprised again six years later; his directorial debut Il segreto del giaguro was a well- acted comedy that made use of the success of the Roman singer Piotta at the time.

In the new millennium, Fassari often appeared in television series.
