Antonio Climati
Antonio Climati (born November 14, 1931 in Rome - † August 9, 2015 in Rome) was an Italian cameraman , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Climati, son of the camera operator Arturo Climati, gained his first experience with the camera at the side of his father and as an assistant to the news and documentary filmmaker Paolo Gregorich . Then he was part of Gualtiero Jacopetti's staff and shot several of his Mondo films with him as a cameraman.
From the mid-1970s, initially together with Mario Morra , he made his own films in the style of Jacopetti, with occasional forays into the pure feature film - for example, the Paradiso infernale , marketed as Cannibal Holocaust II , his last film to date.
