Ainsley Bennett
Ainsley Bennett (born July 22, 1954 ) is a former British sprinter of Jamaican origin.
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he reached the semi-finals over 200 m and was eliminated with the British team in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.
At the Universiade 1979 he won bronze over 100 m and 200 m.
In 1983 he won over 400 m silver at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Budapest and with the British team in the cast Bennett, Garry Cook , Todd Bennett and Philip Brown bronze in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .
Ainsley Bennett started for the Birchfield Harriers.
